First day of 1st grade!

Today was Blythe's first day of school. She was so ready and excited. Mom, what do you think of her haircut?

Locks of Love

Blythe has been growing out her hair for locks of love and we finally had it cut this week to start the new school year on Tuesday. Our friend Jen cut it and Blythe LOVES her new short do. If anything I wasn't as ready as she was. . .she looks so old! 1st grade here we come!

Santa Cruz, our favorite spot!

To end Caitlin's trip with a bang we took the fam down to Santa Cruz for the weekend. Friday night we went to the boardwalk, then Saturday we spent all day at the beach digging for sand crabs and playing by the water. I love the beaches in Nor Cal, they are very rugged and because the water is cold I believe it makes my kids tough! We love going down to Capitola, getting a slice at "Pizza my heart" and doing a little surfing if we can. Brando tried to get Callie a few rides this trip. Here's a few pics from the weekend. My little sister Caitlin is visiting for a week and after a day at the water park yesterday we went out to a new BBQ place called Lucille's. We met Brandon's parents so they could see Cait before they go to Utah for Emmalee's birthday. Here's some dinner pics.
