Santa Cruz/Monterey

I think the best way to mark my return to blogging is to post about our latest trip. Last weekend we snuck over to the coast to visit one of our favorite places, Santa Cruz. SC holds lots of memories for the Hardy Party including our engagement and honeymoon. We love to take our kids there. Highlights from the trip include Manresa state beach, the famous Santa Cruz beach Boardwalk, driving down Highway 1, the amazing produce stands (from which we consumed abundant amounts of apricots, toffee peanuts, cherries, peaches, roasted almonds, and a bag of fresh garlic pistachios which were sooooo good I wish had some right now!) the monterey bay aquarium, and dennis the menace park.
