and I guess that includes STITCHES! Of all my kids though, I certainly didn't think Tess would be the first! We were eating lunch at the mall yesterday, (thankfully I had decided to go last minute so we were by ourselves) and we were sitting at the children's table spreading out our happy meals. Blythe was spending the night with her Nonus(Brandon's mom), so I just had Eli and Tess. Tess was on my left eating her fries, and I turned to my right to help Eli with his straw. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Tess barely slide off the end of her kids chair and catch herself on the floor with her hands. I grabbed her and turned her around to put her on my shoulder to comfort her and to my surprise caught sight of a nice big gash on her forehead. Evidently on the way down she hit the edge of the little chair right next to her at just the right angle to split the skin. I didn't even see her hit the chair! As a side note, I usually leave her in the stroller and feed her, but the kids chairs are a foot off the ground so I thought it would be fun for her to be a big girl and sit with us this time! I felt horrible but thankfully everyone was so sweet and helpful to us. This darling grandma and her daughter sat with me and helped me pack everything up. The paramedics came and were cracking up because all Tess wanted to do was finish her french fry! Brandon was across the street at a lunch meeting so he quickly came and got us and ran us to the ER for 8 stitches (1 inside, 7 outside)! It was so sad to see my little one have to get straight-jacketed and held down to get closed back up. I held her hands and fought back tears. I hope to not have to watch another child of mine get sewn back together anytime soon!
With a fun-loving husband and three non-stop kids, everyday really is a party with the Hardy's!

Easter Sunday

Easter weekend has been great. We have had our fill of easter egg hunts, bunnies, and candy. We had a wonderful sacrament service today and the kids loved their new outfits. After church, we went to Papa and Nonus house for an egg hunt and dinner. The kids had an awesome time hunting for eggs and their baskets were full of all kinds of fun treats, toys, and movies. The easter bunny was very good to all of us this year!
Pre-school egg hunt

Eli's pre-school egg hunt was alot of fun. However, Tess was not a fan of the Easter bunny as you can see. She actually ran right up to him, but freaked out when I put her on his lap. Why do we love tormenting our children? I guess so we can pull out the pictures and laugh about it when they grow up!

Big Hits
Blythe had two great hits on Saturday but unfortunately I did not catch them on video. Here is one hit from game 2, it bounced but still went aways.

Game number 2

After a great starter game on Saturday, we followed up today with game number 2. Blythe wanted to try playing catcher and I couldn't help but take a picture of how cute she looked in all that gear. She following in her daddy's footsteps already!Beware that I may post a million softball pictures this season but she is my first child and I am really loving watching her have fun!

Blurb
It is always fun to share new things and so I thought I would pass this along to my blogging friends. There is a website called Blurb.com that let's you download your blog and prints it in book form. I will warn you that it does take a little time to reformat the pages to your liking however it is a whole heck of alot easier than starting from scratch.
Can I get a Hallelujah? Instant journaling people. Let the guilt go.

Just a thought. . .
I have decided that in the scriptures when they talk about manna from heaven, they are really referring to Nutella.
